Particular topics

  • Why did you choose CSC104?
Actually I am interested in computer science, and try to get some idea about it, but have no idea where to start.  I knew that CSC108 is another starter course, but I think it might be little bit hard to handle.   I am looking for something interesting and will be a good beginning for me to get some idea.  Therefore I choose CSC104
  • What interests you about computing?
Although I used computer for real long period, but I actually  have no idea about how does it work. Such as , how does the thing I typed in computer become something I am looking for.  Moreover,  except the things I tried before, is there anything else I can do with computer.
  • What are your goals in CSC104?
Just try to enjoy the course, and have fun with DrRacket.
  • Has your conception of programming changed since before you started the course? In what way(s)?
I thought it might be boring and doing all the things repeated, or have to write code in a fixed way.  But actually it is interesting, when I run the code I was wrote, I feel "I am really doing something" and " I can make it do this". What is more, I realized there are so many different ways to get a same result, as long as the things inside did make sense, and well connected.
